This course(CMM 111) provides exposure to advanced concepts of computers with emphasis on the personal computer and enterprise computing. The topics to be taught includehardware, application systems and software, internet & WWW, communication,e-commerce, societal issues, database management, systems analysis & design,programming, information systems, career opportunities, certifications in the field futuretrend of computers and computer.
In addition, all students are exposed to the practical use of computer applications such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office Word 2007, MicrosoftOffice Excel 2007, Microsoft Office Access 2007, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007,Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, Web site development, and integration applications.
One of the tasks or assignments the student need to fill is to establish the blog with the requirements stated in the e-learning.
